Master of Divinity (M.Div.)
The Master of Divinity degree seeks to provide a concentration in theological education, an intensive study in Bible, Theology, Christian heritage, and a practical knowledge of ministry. Our curriculum of 96 semester hours is designed to prepare students for ordination, ministry and leadership in the local church and can be completed full-time in three years. The M.Div. program strives to foster a thorough knowledge of scripture and a deeper conviction and commitment to his/her own personal call to Christ and the Christian ministry. This program includes all the basic courses and requirements for the M.Div., and an introduction to the Biblical languages (Greek and Hebrew).
Master of Arts in Christian Leadership (MACL)
The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership degree is designed to provide graduate level biblical leadership education that will prepare students to acquire skills for Christ-like leadership. The MACL program is a two-year intensive program that combines Bible, Theology, practical knowledge of ministry and thorough knowledge of scriptural perspective of leadership. The curriculum of 63 semester hours seeks to equip students to function effectively in leadership positions in ministry settings that include churches, missions, non-governmental organizations (NGO’s), Christian non-profit and market place context.
African American Religious Studies
The concentration is designed for students to study at a graduate level the African American religious practices through sound theological studies and academic scholarship. Furthermore, the concentration will provide students with the tools to better serve the community and sacred space of persons of color.
