CERTIFICATE IN BIBLICAL STUDIES
For those who do not seek the Bachelor's or Master’s degree, the Seminary offers a Certificate in Biblical Studies (CBS). The CBS is awarded to a regularly admitted student who has earned at least 30 credits. This Certificate is ideal for those who wish to enrich their knowledge in particular areas without being committed to the completion of a degree.
LICENTIATE IN DIACONAL MINISTRY
The Licentiate in Diaconal Ministry (LDM) is awarded to a student upon the successful completion of the course of study which has been approved by the examining chaplains of the Diocese of the Southeast. This program satisfies the theological requirements for ordination to the Diaconate. Credits earned are not currently transferable to the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program; however, student may be granted credit for courses completed at Cummins Memorial Theological Seminary or another recognized theological institution. Classes will be offered at the Seminary.
AFRICAN AMERICAN RELIGIOUS STUDIES
The African American Religious Studies is designed for students to study at a graduate level the African American religious practices through sound theological studies and academic scholarship. Furthermore, the concentration provides students with the tools to better serve the community and sacred space of persons of color.
DEACONESS CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
This certificate program is designed to equip the deaconess to serve in the local parish.
